Alaska Operating Engineers' Employers Training Trust

The Trust is responsible for the Alaska Operating Engineers/Employers Training Center in Palmer, AK, the training program for heavy equipment operators covering the State of Alaska.  The center offers four different apprenticeship programs, as well as journey-level skill improvement courses.  If you already have at least two years of experience in either Construction Equipment Operation, Surveying or Heavy-Duty Equipment Repair (as used in Heavy Highway and commercial buildings), you may qualify to join as a journey-level Operating Engineer.  For information about our training program in Alaska, see the training website at www.aoeett.org.
