Membership Meeting Notice
There will be a non-mandatory educational meeting hosted Monday, July 23rd evening beginning at 7:00 pm at the Bothell Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the types of bargaining agreements that can be negotiated or considered for different groups and associations.

District 1 (WA) Union Mtg. Date Change & Tentative Master Agreement Reached
The District 1, Bothell meeting was rescheduled at our last monthly meeting to this coming Monday, July 2, 2018 at 7:00 pm. Today, we reached a tentative agreement for the Western WA Master Labor Agreement and we intend to discuss the details of it at this meeting and at the other district meetings this month. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.

Contract Update
The Local 302 Bargaining Team has agreed to an extension of the Western WA Master Labor Agreement negotiations through Friday, July 6th. The team agreed to this because it aligns us with the Carpenters extension and the negotiations continue to be productive. We are hopeful that with the additional time that a tentative agreement will be reached. Our future negotiation dates are June 25, 28th, July 2nd, and possibly more. We appreciate your continued support and patience.

District 1 Meeting Agenda
The agenda for the District 1, June 7th meeting in Bothell will be for Honoring Years of Service and Apprenticeship Graduation ceremonies. The Local 302 Bargaining Team wanted to alert members that because WA Master Labor Agreement negotiations were still underway that we would not be discussing any details. However, if negotiations continue to be productive and result in a tentative agreement before the next regular District 1 Bothell meeting we will call a Special Meeting to discuss them. Notice of this meeting will be published when and if it is set. We appreciate all the member support!

MLA Negotiation Update
The Local 302 Bargaining Team has decided it’s in the best interest of the members to extend the Western WA Master Labor Agreement through Friday, June 15th. Although there has been some forward progress in negotiations we have not been able to reach a tentative agreement worthy of taking to the membership for a vote, before other options were resorted to. With more time, we are hopeful to bring the best contract possible back to the membership for a vote. We appreciate all the member support!
Our future negotiation dates scheduled are June 8th, 11th and 12th.

Only members working under the WA MLA may be directly affected by the outcomes of these negotiations. Know and understand what contract you are working under because there are many other contracts out there and these negotiations do not pertain to them, including CWA/PLAs. Please check back regularly and/or reach out to your Representative for updates.
