Some medical facilities in the Fairbanks area are charging considerably more than what is considered usual and customary.

If you need to see a doctor or require surgery and you are in the Fairbanks area your preferred provider network organization is Beach Street/Viant. Be sure to go to their website at www.beechstreet.com or call them at 800.877.1444 to locate a preferred provider.

If you choose to use a provider other than those listed on Beech Street/Viants list you could be responsible for excessive charges.

Ask your provider for a break down of what the actual charges are going to be
